SCALE DATA COLLECTION SYSTEM

For a major British Columbia cattle ranch, designed and developed a communications subsystem that reads cattle weights from an electronic scale into a laptop computer application. The system components are set up at various corral locations on the ranch. Animal identifications are verified; the scale indications are read and posted with additional user comments. At the ranch office, the field data is reformatted and merged with the ranch's cattle management system.
